Date set for the 1st IFCE cohort

Updated: May 5, 2021

We are excited to share our tentative start date for our first ever cohort!

After almost a year of planning, we are happy to announce that the first day of classes is tentatively scheduled for August 4th, 2021 from 6 to 9 pm MT. This start date is contingent upon receiving deposits and signed student agreements from at least 8 students. Classes will be held via Zoom virtual video conference and will run from August 3rd, 2021 to January 12, 2022. We will meet every Wednesday, with the exception of the week of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. And yes, there will be an amazing Zoom graduation ceremony that you can invite all your friends and family to!

"The best way to become an excellent coach is through hands on experience and repetition."

Information about certification By completing the ACC program with the ICFE, you are eligible to apply for the ICF's ACC specific ACTP pathways which will save you $200 dollars and waive the need for you to submit audio recordings and transcripts for performance evaluation, which can delay the accreditation process by up to 14 weeks. *

If you decide to continue your coursework by completing an additional 65 coaching hours to obtain the PCC accreditation, you can similarly apply for a PCC accreditation without submitting an audio recording for a performance evaluation. You can find more about the various credentialing pathways by visiting the ICF’s credentialing website here.

The ICFE is in the process of submitting our request to become an ICF credentialed program. That process requires submission of various documents and successfully graduating a cohort of at least 5 students who can coach at the PCC level. If you are part of the inaugural class, you will be eligible to apply for the ACTP pathway once the ICF accredits our program.

We look forward to welcoming our first cohort of students this Fall and supporting them to embody coaching excellence!
