New Start Dates, Registration Deadlines & What to Expect

We are a little over a month away from kicking off our Fall 2023 Cohort and excited for the students who will begin their journey to becoming IFCE Certified Life, Leadership, & Executive Coaches!

Class Start Dates

Our Fall 2023 Cohort will run Wednesdays beginning August 23rd from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm Mountain Time until February 2, 2024. The preferred registration deadline is August 10th and no student will be enrolled after the start of the 3rd class. We will also be opening up enrollment for our Tuesday, 8 to 11 am morning class that starts January 23rd in November. If you are interested in attending either of these cohorts, we invite you to join us this month for an Information Session to meet the instructors, learn about the course activities, curriculum, and graduation requirements. You can also schedule a 1:1 session with instructors if that time does not work for you. Below are the Information Session dates that are currently scheduled.

Program Overview Our 135-hour program meets the coach training requirements for those seeking an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) or Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential from the International Coaching Federation. 10 hour of mentor coaching, 22 hours of peer coaching, and step by step instructions for launching a business are also included in our program. The total cost for tuition is $3, 200 (which includes a $300 registration fee) and monthly payment plans are available. Classes are taught via Zoom video conference in U.S. American English by Professional Certified Coaches Alexis Goggans, PCC and Christian Hartley, PCC. Course Goals

  • Master the ICF’s Code of Ethics and Core Competencies

  • Obtain a PCC Level coaching proficiency

  • Complete the Business in a Box to start & grow your business in 6 months

  • Complete a final Capstone Project to launch your coaching business

What to Expect

  • 3 hour weekly meetings via Zoom Video Conference for 6 months

  • 22 lesson broken into 5 modules for a total of 135 hours

  • 80% of course is on the ICF Core Competencies, 20% on business planning

  • 69 hours of student contact hours and 66 asynchronous contact hours

  • Approximately 22 hours of peer-to-peer coaching included

  • 10 mentor coaching sessions (7 in class, 3 one on one with Instructors)

  • Weekly homework assignments, reading, and Slack prompts

Who We Are The IFCE is a boutique training institute that is accredited by the International Coaching Federation. We believe coaching programs should be affordable, inclusive, and human-centered. Our small class room sizes and training templates create a resource-rich environment that advances the coaching profession while helping students excel in the art and practice of coaching. The IFCE was founded by Alexis Goggans, PCC & Christian Hartley, PCC in 2020 with one mission- to create diverse cohorts of competent and confident coaches who become leaders in the coaching profession. Since 2017, Christian & Alexis have provided life, leadership, and executive coaching to leaders, organizations, and agents for social good. Together they have more than 8 years of formal experience deepening their study of coaching while running successful coaching businesses. We are excited to share these experiences with the next generation of leaders answering the call to coach.
