A Day In the Life of a Coaching Program

So what's it like to attend an IFCE training session?

Well depending on what session you enroll in, it’s either a 3-hour day or night time program designed to help you become an IFCE Certified Life, Leadership, & Executive Coach in just 6 months. And yes, you can become a coach while working or studying full time!

In each of our three-hour training sessions, we provide comprehensive coaching materials that will challenge you to develop top notch business skills and expertise in the International Coaching Federation’s (ICF) Core Competencies. We provide a curriculum that is ICF aligned and evidence-based. This means your exposed to a variety of tools, resources, and exercises that will help you develop your coaching style and give you the experience and skills needed to become a rising industry leader and credentialed coach.

We provide materials that will challenge you to develop top notch business skills and expertise in the (ICF) Core Competencies.

Each class begins with a homework review and check-in on your business development and coaching needs. Then we spend anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes of instruction time on coach related topics such as the history of coaching (see graphic below), how to support clients experiencing intense emotions to topics such as the science of behavior change and non-verbal communication. We also use videos, group and break out discussions, and in class coaching demonstrations to give you hands-on experience.

One of the best things about our program is that we learn from each other- that includes instructors and coaches! We encourage questions, critical thinking, and welcome the unique professional and life experiences that each student brings to the table. So whether you join our 8am MT class before heading into work, or our 6pm MT session after handling your daily responsibilities, you will leave each class with the support of a diverse community of coaches who are ready to lead their clients toward excellence.
