Maisha Cannon (she/her) joined the Institute for Coaching Excellence in December of 2025. Maisha serves as the Enrollment Coordinator for our ICF-accredited and aligned coach training programs. Below is a summary of the programs she oversees enrollment for.

Biography

Maisha L. Cannon is the founder of The Collab Lab, Inc., a boutique practice that helps teams improve how they work, decide, and deliver through facilitation, coaching, advisory support, and practical systems that reduce operational friction.

 

With 15+ years at organizations like Google, LinkedIn, GitHub, and Verizon, she brings practitioner experience to moments when teams need clearer judgment, stronger adoption, and extra capacity without adding permanent headcount.

 

A respected voice in talent and learning circles, she has delivered sessions for BambooHR, Recruiters Network, and Gem Summit, with thought leadership featured in Recruiting Daily and Brainfood.

 

In 2025, she was named to the Most Inclusive HR Influencer List. ICF-trained and ATD-certified, she is known for clarity, curiosity, and calm leadership, especially when work is complex and outcomes matter.
