Biography

Nikki Murillo is a proud first-generation bilingual Latine woman with more than 15 years of experience as a facilitator, coach, educator, and leader across nonprofit and educational settings. A Certified DEI & Organizational Change Consultant and Certified Life, Leadership, and Executive Coach, Nikki is committed to advancing human-centered leadership development and equity-centered organizational change.

Nikki’s work is rooted in the belief that every person and organization has the potential to grow, adapt, and lead with purpose. Through her strategic guidance, she helps leaders and teams build sustainable, values-driven cultures where impact and inclusion go hand in hand. Her work centers belonging, reflection, and accountability - core principles she brings to designing and coordinating programs that support adult learners’ growth.

In her coaching practice, Nikki meets each person with deep curiosity, empathy, and respect for their lived experience. She uses powerful, reflective questions to help clients uncover the wisdom that already exists within them, guiding them toward clarity, confidence, and purposeful action. Nikki is especially passionate about uplifting emerging women-of-color leaders, creating space for their brilliance, resilience, and leadership to be fully recognized and realized.

Nikki earned her Masters of Social Work from Colorado State University with a certificate in Nonprofit Administration, as well as Social-Emotional Character Development. As a student of social work, she is committed to the practice of unlearning saviorism, self-sacrifice, and colonized nonprofit norms, all while creating healing, reflective spaces where leaders can dismantle harmful narratives and reimagine sustainable, values-driven cultures.

A Colorado resident of 17 years, Nikki recharges through time in the sunshine and mountain air with her partner, dog, and cat. She enjoys pottery, knitting, painting, and baking treats for loved ones - creative outlets that keep her grounded and connected.
