Elonda Johnson, PCC, NBC-HWC (she/her) joined the Institute for Coaching Excellence in March of 2024. In addition to serving as an Instructor, she is the team lead for diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB). She also leads student engagement and supports our instructors by curating opportunites for ongoing training and professional development.

Biography

Elonda Johnson (she/her) is a sought-after ICF-certified Executive Coach (PCC), leadership development consultant, and advanced facilitator. Her practice is committed to inspiring diverse leaders to embrace their strengths and unique gifts while honoring their values, gaining influence, and creating impact within their organizations, businesses, and communities. Her expertise focuses on supporting senior leaders in improving their inclusive leadership, developing high-performing teams, navigating critical people leadership challenges with clarity and intention, and scaling their impact and careers.

Elonda has over 20 years of HR, leadership development, talent acquisition, diversity & inclusion, and coaching experience in technology, professional services, bio-pharmaceuticals, and sports & entertainment industries. She understands the complexities of corporate environments, entrepreneurship, and life and guides her clients to success by drawing from her HR wisdom, people leadership experience, and consulting expertise.


Elonda focuses on clients as whole individuals with vibrant lives that extend far beyond titles, circumstances, and roles. She believes her clients are equipped with everything they need. When they create space for themselves, they are capable of becoming more dynamic, impactful leaders who make significant contributions to the growth and effectiveness of their organizations, businesses, and communities. Her role as your coach is to hold the space. Elonda’s superpower is her ability to see things her clients cannot see and communicates them in a way that resonates and propels them toward their goals. Using a combination of strength-based, solution-focused, and cognitive behavioral coaching, she activates fundamental shifts in her clients’ ways of thinking, feeling, and doing.

Elonda is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and The University of Texas at Dallas. She holds certificates in Diversity & Inclusion from the University of South Florida, Team Coaching from the Global Team Coaching Institute, and Health & Wellness coaching from the College for Executive Coaching and the National Board of Health & Wellness Coaching.

Elonda resides in the Dallas, Texas, area with her entrepreneur husband and three talented children. When not coaching, she enjoys traveling, quality time with friends and family, and perusing real estate apps for inspiration.
